Dermal Filler

Dermal filler is made from a substance called hyaluronic acid which occurs naturally in your body. Dermal filler is a very natural, non-permanent treatment to contour, create volume, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and to hydrate and revitalize your appearance.
Throughout the consultation our Doctor will develop a treatment plan based on a full facial assessment. Depending on what treatment you would like, sometimes the results you are after can be completed on the day of treatment or sometimes to optimize your treatment outcome an ongoing treatment plan will be developed.
You will notice the results of dermal filler immediately, however, it is advised to wait at least 7 days to capture full results as swelling and bruising may occur within the first couple of days after treatment. Dermal filler treatment lasts between 9 and 18 months.
The main areas of treatment include cheeks, lip augmentation, nasolabial folds, ‘smokers’ lines, marionette lines, jawline, chin, tear trough, and other areas of the face.
How long will my dermal filler last?
The longevity of each filler is different, however, all products used at will last anywhere between 9 – 12 months. If you have a fast metabolism or exercise heavily the longevity of dermal filler may differ.
How much will it cost?
Depending on how many units are used in your treatment, will depend on how much your treatment will cost. We cannot give quotes over the phone as we haven’t assessed your face and discussed your desired results. You can view our price list here and we have injectable packages to choose from.
Can I achieve a lower facelift with dermal filler?
Yes. We will create a treatment plan to achieve a mid or lower-face lift with dermal fillers. Achieving the result you want will depend on a few factors; your age, skin quality/texture, tissue thickness, and many more. Most clients need anywhere from 1 – 6ml to achieve their desired outcome.
How long does anti-wrinkle take to start working?
Anti-wrinkle injections can start to have effect between 1 and 7 days. At 14 days your results will have reached their full potential and is when your post-treatment photos will effectively be taken.
How long will my anti-wrinkle treatment last?
It’s definitely recommended you keep on top of your treatments, if you see movement starting to reappear book in for a touch-up. Anti-wrinkle treatments are proven to last longer if you maintain and keep on top of treatments. We explain it like this – if you stop using your muscles, they won’t grow and once you start using them again, they will grow. The same principle applies to anti-wrinkle injections, we are stopping the muscle from working so if it doesn’t have the chance to start working again then it won’t grow. No muscle movement = no static lines.
Is there downtime for anti-wrinkle treatments?
No physical appearance down-time but we ask that you avoid laying down for 4 hours, avoid touching the area and avoid heat for 24 hours post-treatment. At each injection point there is a chance of little lumps (mosquito bite size) which will dissapear within in a couple of hours.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections block chemical signals from the muscle to the brain which means that your muscle that is injected will temporarily become inactive. The effect that anti-wrinkle injections produce is relaxation and to some extent lift the muscles of the treated area to soften those unwanted lines, giving a tighter, smoother, and more youthful appearance.
You will start to notice the effect of the anti-wrinkle injections between 4 and 7 days which can last between 3-5 months. With regular treatments, results can be optimised and possibly reduce the amount of anti-wrinkle dosage required throughout your treatment plan.

The main areas of treatment include frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet (smile lines). Other areas that can be treated include gummy smile, ‘smokers’ lines, brow lift, neck bands, downturned corners of the mouth, nasal flaring and masseters (jawline slimming & teeth grinding). Botulinum Toxin can also help relieve hay fever symptoms.

Skin Boosters

The first of its kind is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into the skin, it stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin. One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. It not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. It stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.
How They Work
Skin boosters work to improve skin hydration, fine lines, and dullness. These injections contain hyaluronic acid, which binds water to deeply moisturise the skin, resulting in a significant and long-lasting improvement in overall skin quality with a beautiful glow. Please note- 2 sessions of PROFHILO are needed for or optimal results and should be administered one month apart.
How many injection sites are there?
There are 10 injection sites in total – 5 sites per side of your face and you will left with 10 dots which will resolve anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours. Most clients say their lumps have disappeared by the time they drive home.
How does Profhilo work?

How many treatments are required?

What is PRP?
PRP is a three-step treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the skin or scalp, depending on the client’s concerns.
Stage one is to draw blood from the patient’s arm and put it into a centrifuge to separate fluids of different densities.
Stage two is the separation of the blood into PRP and red blood cells
